If someone asked me to check out a Deathcore song the average length of an entire Slam album, I'd have laughed in their face. Now I'm laughing at my lack of faith. While Lore of Lies shows its age, it's still a proper deathcore album with complex riffage and savage breakdown rhythms; the pervasive symphonics construct an eerie atmosphere the brutality is quite at home in.
